Project Duration: 5 years

Purpose: Improving energy efficiency in Turkish industry by promoting industrial establishments in composing efficient energy management by using energy efficieny measures and energy efficient technologies.

Efficient and Low Carbon Heating and Cooling Project

Project Coordinator: General Directorate of Renewable Energy (GDRE)

Project Partners: 

  • Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources,
  • Denmark Ministry of Energy, Public Services and Climate

Project Duration: 2 years 8 months (April 2017 - December 2019)

Purpose: In Turkey to develop related politics, strategies and solutions for transforming an energy sector with a low carbon, to reach medium-long term targets for energy efficiency and regional heating and cooling, to increase application capacity of new heating legislation to be planned to publish.

International Energy Efficieny and Energy Management in Industry and Buildings Training Project

Project Partners:

  • Japanese International Coordination Agency (JICA)
  • Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA)

Project Duration: Renewed in each 3 years

Purpose: Enabling participants to improve knowledge and technics related to energy efficiency and management in industry and buildings. All participants have a common Training significantly contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions to the limits foreseen by Climate Changing Convention and to form technical groups for using energy efficiently in the Region.
