Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner YILDIZ expressed his doubt that Eastern Mediterrenean natural gas will seriously be offered to the world markets through LNG terminals via Egypt.
At the groundbreaking ceremony of Akkuyu Marine Facilities Construction, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner YILDIZ stated about the beginning of a new era and that such a concrete and a clear point had never been reached on establishment of a nuclear power plant before.
Regarding the agreements concluded among the Turkish and the Russian Universities in the field of nuclear education and training, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner YILDIZ stated that “this framework agreement made both in Russia and among our valuable Universities, will be the most important centre for human resources”.
During the opening ceremony of the 8-th Internatıonal Solar Energy Energy and Technology Fair held in Istanbul ExpoCentre, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner YILDIZ emphasized that a growing Turkey cannot have a shrinking energy sector, while stating that Turkey is going through a certain transformation, progress and development.
An agreement covering energy cooperation between Turkey and Georgia was signed by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner YILDIZ and the Minister of Energy of Georgia - Kakha Kaladze.
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner YILDIZ took part in the opening ceremony of the “12-th International Petroleum, LPG, Mineral Oil, Equipment, Station, Market Products and Technology Fair”.
While stating that TANAP bears a particular importance both in terms of its route and target, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan underlined: “As this very Project is not an alternative to any other projects, there are no other alternatives to this Project either”.
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız held a joint press release with Norwegian Petroleum and Energy Minister Tord Lien with whom he met within the scope of the official visits paid in Norway.
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız obtained information from the authorized persons of CERN (European Nuclear Research Centre) after the joint membership agreement signed between Turkey and CERN.
