European Energy Network: EnR Membership and Cooperation
It is aimed to plan, manage, enhance and evaluate national research & projects in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy and reduce the effects of climate change with the membership and cooperation of the European Energy Network (EnR). EnR, which is a member of the institutions working on energy efficiency and sustainable energy on a fully voluntary basis, provides advantages to the member countries in order to strengthen their cooperation and to carry out joint projects.
Efficient and Low Carbon Heating and Cooling Project
Purpose: In Turkey to develop related politics, strategies and solutions for transforming energy sector with a low carbon, to reach medium-long term targets for energy efficiency and regional heating and cooling, to increase application capacity of new heating legislation to be planned to publish.

International Energy Efficiency and Energy Management in Industry and Buildings Training Project
Purpose: Enabling participants to improve knowledge and technics related to energy efficiency and management in industry and buildings. All participants have a common Training significantly contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions to the limits foreseen by Climate Changing Convention and to form technical groups for using energy efficiently in the Region.

Strategic Sector Cooperation between Turkey and Denmark “Efficient and Low Carbon Heating and Cooling
In reference to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkish and the Danish Governments on energy efficiency and renewable energy, the Strategic Sector Cooperation was signed in March, 29 2017 in order to develop relevant policies, strategies and solutions to enable rational use of domestic and renewable energy resources. achieve the governments’ long term objectives for energy efficiency and district heating and cooling and increase the capacity of implementation of the planned new legislation on heat supply.
IPA Energy Sector
Within the scope of IPA 2012 Energy Sector Technical Assistance Project, Energy Efficiency Institutional Capacity Building Project tender has been completed and a contract has been signed with the winning company and the project will start in the first quarter of 2019.
Within the IPA 2015, tender process of the project entitled “Technical Assistance for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Support for the Municipalities and Universities” has been completed. The overall objective of the project is to enhance the capacity of the municipalities and universities in relation to renewable energy and energy efficiency, contributed to renewable energy and energy efficiency applications to be implemented by municipalities and universities and to support R&D applications for renewable energy and energy efficiency.
